Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington is hiring part-time summer Youth Development Professionals at multiple Club locations from June 16th to August 15th. Join our team to help our youth enjoy a fun-filled summer!

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support the planning and implementation of activities for youth in program areas (Education, Tech, Art, Gym, Games)
- Provide behavioral guidance using conflict resolution techniques, restorative practices, and problem-solving.
- Provide guidance, affirm positive behavior, and act as a role model for youth.
- Create and maintain a safe environment through active supervision, setting clear expectations, and ensuring clean program areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old for Elementary Clubs.
- Must be at least 21 years old for Teen Clubs.
- Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check, Social Security Verification, Local Criminal Background Check, and National Sex Offender Registry Check is mandatory.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills for working with youth is essential.
WORK SCHEDULE
- 25 to 28 hours per week
- Must be available to work between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

- Burton Elementary Club - 14015 NE 28th St, Vancouver, WA 98682
- Teen Turf Club - 4040 Plomondon St, Vancouver, WA 98661
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
- Part-time (PT) / Year-Round

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $17 - $19 hourly depending on experience
- Paid time off accrual and 12 paid holidays
- Additional compensation is available for candidates who have proficient verbal skills in Spanish
