Membership Specialist (Bilingual) - Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
With supervision from the Club Director, the Membership Specialist will:
- Be responsible for daily front desk operations, including but not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service to Club members, parents, and community members.
- Provide guidance, affirm positive behavior in members, and offer redirection to youth when needed.
- Ensure confidentiality during and after employment which includes, but not limited to membership data, school data, safety plans, and other information obtained.
- Act as a role model to youth by maintaining a good reputation and moral conduct outside of work, in the community and on social media networks.
- Ensure household account management accuracy including account balances, daily attendance and program attendance
- Provide guidance and support on Club communication through MyClubHub
- Provide guidance with general questions around membership and the parent portal to families
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to read, write, and speak in English and Spanish - Required
- High School diploma or GED – Required
- Pass a National Criminal, Social Security, Local Criminal and National Sex Offender Registry Background Check –Required
- Pass a Credit Check - Required
- Experience working at a front desk / reception area – Preferred
- Experience working with youth – Preferred
- Skill in data entry, clerical support, strong communication and customer service - Required
- CPR & First Aid Certifications – Required within 6 months of hire date.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Must be currently available to work between 1pm to 7pm (Including a weekly Staff Meeting), Monday through Friday, expanded hours available during summer
- Occasional Saturday & Sunday availability required for Weekend Reporting
- Approximately 25-30 hours per week

- $18.00-$20.00/hour
